I got the newest addition to the pod family installed last night. Let me know what you think.

Did you make them or where did you get them?

Did you run new speaker wires?

I got them from www.customspeakerpods.com

Install was pretty easy. Just remove the door panel, set the pod in place, drill holes, cut clearance for the speaker, screw in place, install speakers, jam. The hardest part was getting the d@mn door panel off.

I used the original speaker wire for the woofer, just spliced into it. I also disconnected the factory tweeter. I'm not sure if it was necessary, just thinking that the impedance would drop too low if they were all hooked up.

They sound great, depending on what type of speakers you put in them. They are stiffer than the door panel, so you can throw just about anything you want at them, and they'll take it.
