Hello im new on the forum. I just inherited a 2001 tahoe LT 4x4 after the death of my grandparents and I am looking to lift it. I do not know much about cars or mechanics or anything like that so i am turning to you all. What do you suggest as far as a quality yet some what inexpensive lift goes. I am looking fit either 34' or 35' tires. Would a body lift be sufficient for this modification, or would i be looking at making other changes to the body or chassis of the vehicle. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

with 35" tires you will need at least 4-1/2" of lift but probably a 6-1/2" lift would be best. i have a pro comp and i like it. there are probably off road shops in your area that will sell and install it for you.
