SIRIUS radio...is my 02 tahoe got an antenna?

My boss just handed me a new rec'vr and home and car docking station kits....just had them laying around.

So it's got me curious.
I opened the car docking kit...it's got an antenna.

Does my Tahoe have a built in antenna for this?

No, the 2003+ models had the XM radio option. They had an Onstar antenna and an XM antenna just above the windshield. With those, you can put in the Sirius SIR-1 (or something like that) that uses the factory radio for Sirius instead of XM. But you'd still have to run a Sirius antenna.

Anyways, the Sirius antenna is easy to put in. Run the antenna wire under the exterior weatherstripping along the top of the windshield, through the door weatherstripping and on to the inside. You shouldn't have to cut anything.

he doesnt have the xm antenna his is an 02.
