last week playing my music my subs just wasn't hitting like they use to
so not having the time to look in to it but thurs night i looked in to it.

i notice when i take xover mounting board off that covers one of the sub
amps my left rear barn door speaker pops i checked the spkr wires under the
carpet no problems . so i checked the subs when i take the right rca out of
the xover the left sub hits harder then i put the rca back in sounds like their

canceling each other. i then took the sub box out to get to the other
sub amp and seen that the low filter was on . that explained why the left
sub was louder so i put it in off low filter like the other amp. BUT still had the
problem when both subs are playing.

so i un hooked them then i heard some hissing out of the left barn door spkr
took rca off the xover and switch l&r rca still same noise i have a extra rca
running to that amp it's a 4 ch and i'm only using two ch so after switching
rca's it went away and i used my ohm meter on the bad rca the ground
was bad that means the l&r channels was using 1 ground.

switching to the other rca's solved the whole system problem.:10s:

back to thumping
