You should probably reset your ac/heater head unit. Just unplug the battery for 30 sec plug it back in and start the truck. Do NOT touch the controls on the head unit it is calibrating if you do you will mess it up and have to start over. Let it calibrate for about 4-5 minutes. Any time the...
I would check your oil pressure sending unit and make sure it's not leaking there.
You also need to make sure the pan is lined up correctly This pan is very touchy and it is important to insure it's lined up.
Just make one. get some gasket material at your local auto parts store. Take the part off trace it mark the bolt holes and cut it out use some spray adhesive to keep it lined up and put it back on.
I would first try and reset the the ac/heater head unit. This is very easy. Just unplug the battery for about 30 sec. then start the truck and do NOT touch the controls on the head unit for at least five minutes. It will calibrate itself and this should/might fix your problem. if you mess with...
I would start with the stabilitrak system. More than likely since you lifted it to the sky it is alot harder for this system to work. I would try and disable it and see if it still does it, be careful through if you do and it will probably set a code as well.
Oil pump is going to be alot harder than expected. I have to tear down the front part of the engine all the way to the timing chain and drop the pan. Man when it rains it pours
Well today my oil pump went south. Weird thing is I drove it home(running fine) parked it in the driveway got back in it about an hour later started it and was backing down the drive when it started dinging saying low oil pressure. So I shut it down right away. Then I thought Hmmm? maybe a bad...
I am looking for a OEM chevy or GMC aluminum driveshaft for my 2004 2wd LT Tahoe. It is 4'9" long from the top of both the u joint rings. Does anyone know which vehicle this driveshaft is on so I can swap it out? I don't wanna pay $600 for an aftermarket driveshaft and I'm pretty sure they make...
Has anyone installed a centrifugal supercharger or turbo on their 5.3L? If so what brand? How is the driveability? How much power did you gain? And finally what was the cost for the charger/turbo?
Yes, that is how I removed mine. My cats were about 65% clogged at 100,000 miles and I could not figure out why I was losing power until I pulled the cats out. I tried everything to remove those nuts on the manifold to no avail. Finally I decided to heat up the nut I got it to a dark red then...
I did the same thing with a flowmaster and it was really annoying. So I just welded the tail pipe back on and it sounds just right. My cats were 60% so when I put new cats in it was too loud. Try that I bet yours were clogged to. I don't have headers though.
I have a diablo predator tune and when I try to instal the wheel size it throws the speedo way off. for example I will be traveling about 40mph and the speedo says I'm doing 90mph. My tire size is a 265/70R17 which is what I entered on the tuner when it did this anyone have any ideas? Any help...
I bought the aftermarket keys and spring spacer had it realigned after install. The rear springs were kindof a pain in a55 but well worth it.
Just remember if you go with an 18 your gonna need to calibrate your speedo or it will be off.
