just look for any 2 door with a g80 option. a 10-15 year old truck would probally need shocks and tires anyway as for skid plates you could make them yourself that would be far superior to factory . good luck
if you feel like fixing it up yourself then go for it. its going to take a few grand to fix it up right. so it will probally equal the same money in the long run.as for me i like basket cases so i can fix it how i want !good luck and welcome to the forum
put your rims on then make your decision to keep it or not. if you take the chrome trim off and its messed up under it -sand the trim and spray it black .nice truck
do a small tune up new plugs and change oil .while you change the plugs disconnect the neg on the battery that will clear the trouble codes when your done reconnect and drive about 25-30 miles if it sets a new code then have it checked on a scanner.just because it sets a o2 code doesnt mean it...
change the t stat and run motor w/cap off the rad for a few minutes also when you reinstall the bolts on the t stat clean off the ground wire its a ground for the temp gauge . welcome to the forum!
when i had my 04 hoe it had power folding mirrors that was a great feature.i tried mirrors off a 07 sierra but the mounting flange was too big for the 99 i've seen it done somewhere but it would take some glasswork to fit right
just thinking out loud here - i hate how loose my steering is if i disconected the evo and put a resistor of say 5 ohms between CKT 1057 (ORN/BLK) and CKT 1059 (LT BLU) wouldnt that trick the pump to act slower thus tighten steering ? sorry for the thread jack
there is a a rod the is under the dash that connects to the brake pedal it controls the parking lock i've heard of people that have had the same problem as you and disconnected it.the only problem with that is your truck could be shifted without stepping on the brake but then again thats what...
does it only act up when the trailer is connected?
if all grounds check out then the problem could be the signal harness in the steering column that thing is known to go bad and it affects all lights.
