these are the only shocks available from Delco and this is the same part the dealer sells. The Delco shocks with part # 540-___ are the OEM units.
There are other levels of quality of Delco shocks, but not for this application.
The dealer uses the long #'s for these shocks, not the 'delco'...
Hey guys....my 02 tahoe, the drivers side floor soaks when it's raining.
I have taken the garden hose to the truck and the wiper transmission channel and can't make it leak! (this is with the carpet all pulled back).
No rust.
Any ideas?
Thanks
JK, I just did similar in my Tahoe.
I used 2 sets of Infinity components, but I installed them into each of the 4 doors!
I have found that the rear tweeters do absolutely nothing.
I am contemplating installing the rear tweeters into the pillars just like you did,
I feel that there is not...
So are you saying you are using an aftermarket piece that is not plastic? Because again, the C5 Vette and Tahoe shares the same 1-2 accumulator assembly, part # 24220143.
Jenna, I just don't want to order the GM # if it's still plastic...maybe it's aluminum now?
Sorry to blow the Vette solenoid idea out the window Jenna....
Here's the Tahoe tranny shift solenoids...
and the 02 Vette (basically C5 Vette)....
Basically all the shift solenoids are the same, with the exception of the actual valve body.
Interesting...with my supercharged Mustang, I found that the meter had to be 'clocked' a certain way to achieve a good idle! Could this be simply the case once you remove the screen on the Tahoe?
Your charts are for idle or WOT?
