have the same year 2 door. have you checked your iac? if you get a repair manual you can check alot of the sensors with a volt meter. its pretty self explanitory in the book. you could of easily changed the injectors yourself if you did the tune up and fuel pump. get a book and look into how...

switched out the tps and running correctly now

when it gets to normal operating temperature it idles normally so I dont think it's a vacuum problem. changed the iac and didnt make a difference. will try changing the tps later today.

ok so my 95 is a work in progress lol. finally believe I got the vacuum leak fixed properly or as close as its gonna get (but it works). had to use an elbow off another make vehicle on the backside of the tbi that goes to the valve cover, basically a ventilation hook up. shifts alot smoother...

my 95 has just one behind the cat but its tbi so dont know if its different. should be able to crawl under it and easily spot them

possibly relay, thats what controls the "high" speed. otherwise theres a connection thats known for this problem in late 70s to 90s gm vehicles. found this... Start at the blower motor. Its wires will be purple and black. The blcak one goes to the chassis; the purple one goes to the relay...

bad resistor usually will make the blower motor work on high only since it basically tones down the voltage to make it run at lower speeds. thats maybe not actually how it works but you get the idea lol. what year is it? might help to know

when I originally bought it it had a 180 thermostat in it. put the stock 195 in and it helped but not enough I guess

still showed running rich at normal operating temp when I got it inspected but really bad judging by the smell at start up. hadnt done a compression test. new cap, rotor,plugs and wires

yes replaced the cts. it smells really rich at initial start and the emissions report , which it passed, but still showed running rich. new y pipe with cat and o2 sensor. all vacuum lines are hooked up.
