Well i bought my 2002 Z71 about a week ago and i know aesthetically its different but what makes it better (OR WORSE) than the other models?

I believe the manual says 87, but 89 should be fine as well. THe only reason you would go higher octane is if you have a high compression engine (please correct meif i am wrong) because it prevents detonation or pinging
