I know this may sound completely impractable but I was wondering if anyone has put a Diesel engine in a 2001 or newer Tahoe. I was also wondering about any other engine options I would have.

I have 285-70-16 on stock 2001 tahoe. A little rubbing at first because of some loose plastic in the RF wheel well.

Try cleaning your Mass Air Meter. I went from 10 mpg back to 15 by just cleaning it with some Q-tips. Also it was dirty cause I over oiled my K&N filter.
