    Headliner Rattle

Just had mine fixed for this problem. It's the light in the rear headliner. Foam adhesive inside comes loose.

    Remote Starter Prep Package?

Don't know the part number or cost. After I got my price on the new Tahoe, I told the salesman I wanted the remote start. He estimated it at around $250 complete. When I took delivery, he said no charge, so I'm not sure about the cost. But you will have to take it in and have the service tech...

    Remote Starter Prep Package?

I too have the 1LT package and had the remote installed. You will have to purchase the remote starter kit from the dealer. It will include the new fobs and a GM code for the service tech to program your computer to your VIN #. Fobs alone will not work...

    Embarrassed...oil change question...

Here's my .02.... If you are not comfortable working on or under autos, it's best to let the pro's do it. I'll give you an A for effort for wanting to change the oil, but for an extra $20 of what the oil and filter will cost you, you can let your local GM dealer do this for you while you sit...

Is this a good deal for a new Tahoe ???

Here's the way I see it. He is offering the Tahoe @ $200 under invoice. The 3% holdback is around $1200... $1200 - $200 = $1000 $1000 + $600 doc fee. = $1600 profit. This is just a rough estimate, and I feel you are getting a decent deal. Not getting bent over anyway. Like it has...

Is this a good deal for a new Tahoe ???

Mine was filled with gas, detailed, and first oil change was free. All with no document fee's. Hold tight, they still have room to work. Think of it as a game. It's only the 5th inning!!!! Also, the calendar is in your favor. End of the month and they sure want the sale now.

Is this a good deal for a new Tahoe ???

Some dealers charge what they call a document prep. fee. A set fee for the paperwork. Try and get rid of this if possible. It is a legal fee, but I don't agree with them. It's more of a profit booster. Make sure you know what the amount of the fee is he charges. I've seen them from $69 to...

Is this a good deal for a new Tahoe ???

On a '07 right now, I think just about any dealer would sell at invoice. But very few will go into the 3% holdback amount. And the holdback is 3% of the MSRP minus the $900 destination charge. So to answer your question, I think invoice or better yet, (under invoice) is a good deal. And use any...

For the life of me, can NOT get homelink to work...

I think you have it wrong. You use the learn button on the opener, not the remote transmitter. For mine, I just pushed the learn button, then went inside the tahoe and held down the #1 button until the light on the opener flashed. My homelink works GREAT. Took about 15 secs. to program. I...

    Home Link System?

Mine was easy. Did it with the key out of the ignition. Pushed the learn button on the opener, then pushed # 1 button. After 5 secs, garage door light flashes and I released the button. Garage door never moved at all. Took me about 30 secs from start to finish. I have an older chamberlain.

    Exhaust

http://www.gmaccessorydealer.com/exhaust/exhaust-yukon.mp3 I'm going with GM touring system. I wanted the magnaflow, but after the tahoe got rearended and the exhaust was bent, I'm having the body shop put on the performance touring system. I just have to pay the price difference between...

Dealers LOVE the Supplier Discount program!

This is EXACTLY what the dealer wants you to believe. The $45,677.99 you saw on the invoice, is not the TRUE invoice. There is a 3% holdback from GM minus the destination charge. Here is the breakdown: $50,400 MSRP. - $900 (delivery charge) = $49,500 $49,500 x 3%(holdback) =...
