I have a '06 Yukon XL SLT with Std Bose system, just installed new HU, then had amp bypassed after install. My installer says there is NOT a sub under the console. Any ideas why not?

w505 I had one installed a couple weeks ago, in my '06. ykon with bose. Was disappointed with the performance. Talked with my installer and he told me it was the bose amp, it is not designed to work with much else but the stock radio. He suggested to bypass the amp, so thats what I'm doing, and...
