It does take a little finesse. If you didn't use a 3/8 universal with extension I don't know how you can do it.

ISS I replaced my ISS yesterday and rattle is gone. I bought the GM part for 54.00. Works good now and hope it lasts. Funny thing is the one I took out looks like it might have been the new "improved" shaft someone replaced earlier. We'll see.

Ouch. I couldn't tell you but I guess I will buy the anti rotation pin before I try installing my ISS.

Actuator Thanks for the reply. From what I searched so far it does sound like an actuator and it seems to be a common problem.

Anybody have a fix? Just cold air blowing out the roof vents.
