    New 2020 Tahoe

Wow. Glad you didn't get hurt! I've not heard of any asphyxiation issues with modern vehicles. I cannot even imagine how exhaust gas could infiltrate the cabin of the new Tahoe. Please let us know if you come up with anything on this. .

    New 2020 Tahoe

I've been reading about the new 2020 Tahoe recently announced. I am on my 6th Tahoe with a 2015 and I've been waiting for this new model to upgrade. The fact that GM is adding 7 inches to its length and also making it wider may be a deal-breaker for me. I don't want a bigger Tahoe. Good lord. .

2015+ Tahoe LTZ Front bottom seats are too narrow and thin

Ditto Go back a few years and look at the Tahoe seats. Much bigger and more comfortable. The newer ones have been cheapened up.

    Irritating Horn Toot Alert

Well, darnit. I was hoping someone had found the magic cure to toggle this function to off. Maybe it's tied in to another programmable function that, when turned off, will cease the annoying horn toot. If you vehicle is running and you get out to momentarily do something, the horn toots...

    Irritating Horn Toot Alert

How do I program the darn thing off?? If my '15 Z71 is running, I put it in PARK and get out and close the door, it toots the horn to apparently alert me that the motor is running. I've looked through the Vehicle Personalization menu (Passive Locks, Fob Functions etc) and I have not found...

    5 Z71 Fuel Economy

I have been getting very reasonable fuel economy with my 7000-mile 2015. Around town, I am getting close to 18. That edges up to 20 with a few 15-20 miles trips mixed in. By the way, I'm not talking about what the computer says. I talking -check the odometer on fill up and divide it by the...

Converting to HID Lights on Tahoe LT

Well, I have done nothing. Still running mine stock. Z71

They would be expensive as hell, I bet.

    Chevy/GM GPS Navigation Issues

Who designed the GM Nav system? For me it is clunky and cumbersome to use compared to aftermarket systems I use. I quite often use a Garmin GPS system in other vehicles and it is much more intuitive and easy to use. With the Garmin, I can much more easily find "attractions" (POI's in...

Converting to HID Lights on Tahoe LT

Well, I have experienced pretty good life from the Silverstars, even the Ultra version. If the DRL mode is low voltage, as already said, that should help with life. I am thinking about going with the Ultra Silverstars for the low beams and the CREE LED's from Cyclops for the high beams. I have...

Converting to HID Lights on Tahoe LT

I've converted several vehicles to HID as well as the new generation of CREE LEDS. It's not a bad job to do but sometimes issues can be encountered both in installation and in operation. Popping in a set of upgraded halogen bulbs like the Ultra Silverstars would sure be an easy option...

Stick leather and uncomfortable seat in LTZ

I find the (leather) seats on my new Z71 are also not nearly as comfortable as on past Tahoe models. I have no problem with the leather sticking but the narrow width and padding (or lack of it) are inferior to past models. GM has apparently tried to save money by cheapening the seats. I...

Daytime Running Lights (DRL) on Various 2015 Models

That will be some bright-ass DRL's. The DRL/low beam bulbs are H-11, I think. What are the high beam bulbs?

Daytime Running Lights (DRL) on Various 2015 Models

Ahhhh, but then your DRL's will be running at full intensity. Most LED's and HID require full voltage.

    led low beams installed

Yes, LED conversions have come a long way. Most use the CREE LEDS that utilize your stock reflector or projector to spread the huge amount of light they produce.
