Well they found the problem, it was the main unit all the way under the dash, they replaced the acctuators etc none of that work, poor guy spent 30 hours on my truck but its fixed! At least I had a trailblazer as a rental and not some horrible little aveo!!

*UPDATE* They still have no clue what it is, did warn me that if my kid shoved a hot wheels or something down there Id be paying for it, but I got a trailblazer as a loaner, not as nice as my Tahoe but better than an Aveo!!!

I had the same thing happen on mine, the Chevy dealership near me charges around 900 to fix it, thankfully my husband got the part and did it himself which saved us around 600 bucks, but since its been fixed the gauge has been fine.

When my gas light comes on I immediatley go to the gas station and fill up, for some reason when I fill it up its only 20 gallons (i realize the tank is 26) Is this normal? We just replaced the fuel sending unit and before that crapped out I was putting the same amount (20 gals) in the truck...
