    Bumping in the steering column

Yeah, probably so. If it feels loose (like the front end is loose), especially when turning while driving, then that is most likely the problem. It is common in these models due to a design fault. Like I said, my dealer replaced it at no cost but I know some people in other forums have said...

denali oem headlights vs aftermarket halos

i was told the opposite...that they would NOT fit. again, that's just what i was told. but they said the denali has a slightly different grill, etc., and they don't fit. just my 2-cents from what i've heard...

    Bumping in the steering column

yes...you most likely need your "steering intermediate shaft" replaced with the newest revision of this part from GM. it is sometimes called the "i-shaft" for short. when i took my '03 to my local dealer and was starting to tell him the problem he finished my sentence for me. even though mine...

newbie here... ISO a tahoe or yukon

yes, it is the slt that is the top model...my bad. it was early when i was writing that and i misspoke...er, mistyped. the slt is the top of the line and the sle is below that. sorry. they probably do hold their value a little better. seems, at least for me, the gmc's have always seemed a...

    Headlight conversion?

Ok, that is what I thought, too. Good idea. I may change mine out sometime in the future, just not right now. I'd just be careful to not buy pulls from a Denali but rather some that fit the non-Denali rides. Thx.

    Headlight conversion?

Okay, yeah those look good. So do you know if the Denali will fit on a non-denali yukon or do you have to get a "denali look-alike" set of headlight housings? i guess either would work and give the same look. The way the o.p. read I took it he was looking at replacing with oem denali housings...

newbie here... ISO a tahoe or yukon

Ok, well the main difference between Tahoes and Yukons in that year range are the front facia and the badging and oem wheels. Yes, there are SLE and SLT models (I know those are the designations on the Yukons...it's early and whether or not it's the same on the Tahoes is escaping me right now)...

    Headlight conversion?

Hey Dawg...so the Denali headlights will fit in a non-denali Yukon just fine? I thought I'd read somewhere that modifications had to be made. Maybe they were mistaken or thinking of a different year. I have an '03 as well. Thx.

    Tahoe denali converion

I'd say that's right since the front of the Tahoe (headlights, grill, hood, etc.) are different than any Yukon (headlights curve up at the top, of course).

'03 YUKON...Third Brake Light quit working

The new light came with the light itself, the rubber seal that goes around it, and also the short cable. So, I replaced all 3. At first it was still giving me fits (almost like a short somewhere) but after awhile it seems to be working fine every time now. So, that problem is solved...

Lowering Rear 2 Level It Out

I have an '03 Yukon. I've seen a couple that have had the rear lower a lil to make it sit more level. What's the best way to do this AND where's a good place to pick up the parts? Thx.

'03 YUKON...Third Brake Light quit working

hey...yeah, i did some checking on it this evening and got the thing removed. i have power to the unit but when i hooked the unit up directly to a vehicle battery for the purpose of testing it i couldn't get it to light so I have ordered another unit...$127 but I guess it's all I can do. The...

'03 YUKON...Third Brake Light quit working

oh okay, awesome. well i feel kinda stupid now but i realized i didn't look at it by opening the entire lift gate so that may give access to it. i'll look tomorrow or this weekend and see. i just can't figure the entire unit failing. it seems my experience (just in noticing it on other...

'03 YUKON...Third Brake Light quit working

Well I have looked at the fuse boxes...both locations...but couldn't find on the directory any that specifically said it was the third brake light (or whatever GM calls it specifically). I found some for brake/stop lights BUT logic would tell me that if the lower brake lights are working then...
