There are also settings to select how sensitive the FCA system is. Have you checked the sensitivity settings?
Our 2015 LS with the same package works fine. We have the settings on maximum sensitivity.
It depends on where you want to extend wire from.
First, I am unsure how to remove the console top. I think it comes off pretty easily using plastic trim removal tools, but I'm trying to confirm that myself. I may be breaking down and purchasing the shop manuals now that they are finally...
It is inherent in any high pressure injection system. You need the high pressures for the direct injection to work properly. The same type of setup has been reliably used for years in diesel engines. Diesels tend to be noisier to begin with, so you don't hear the ticking.
The direct injection motors have an inherent ticking noise. This noise kind of duplicates the sound of a sticking lifter, but it isn't. It is actually the injectors working normally. Our Tahoe has it, as well as other GM products with the direct injection engines, including the C7 Corvettes...
With the key on and engine off, use the toggle buttons on the steering wheel to get to the oil life display on the dash panel. Push and hold the "reset" button on the steering wheel. You have to hold the button down for around five seconds. You'll hear a beep and the display will reset to 100%.
For 2007, some are flex fuel and some are not. The ones that are should have stickers saying it is and the factory gas cap should be colored yellow. Getting the VIN and taking it to a Chevy dealer should also be able to tell you if it is a flex fuel model or not.
All I am able to come up with so far is that the serial number is located on the side of the block. You have to be underneath the car to see it. It should be kind of in the vicinity of the oil filter. I will check mine tonight to see if I can find it.
A Chevy Dealer's Service Department can...
Well, I've come up empty so far. My tech friend hasn't responded yet to help me narrow down my search. I'm contacting another friend of mine to see if he can help. I'll keep trying to locate something on my engine too, but I'm stumped on this one.
Ok... I'm a little stumped on this one. With my hectic work schedule this week, I haven't had a whole lot of time to work on it. However, in the time I did have, I have not been able to locate the engine serial number on my Tahoe. I will take a more detailed look this weekend. I have reached...
Off the top of my head, I do not know the answer to your question. What I can tell you is that the serial number on your block will contain at least a portion of your VIN. Just how many digits of your VIN and what, if any, other numbering goes with it, I'm not sure. I'm not positive of where...
I believe the glitch is due to Arizona not participating in the bi-annual adjust the clock routine.
We just got back from a road trip to Phoenix. The clock in our Tahoe did update to the correct time, but there was a delay in doing so. In our case (coming from San Antonio, TX), the clock had...
What trouble codes are being thrown? Starting with all the trouble codes should help the technician properly diagnose things. Maybe even try a different dealer if you can.
Active handling stuff can "flake out" over a minor flaw or something more major. It can be fairly easy to check on some...
