Are these updates done regularly when one brings their Tahoe into the dealer to get serviced? I want to make sure that my nav unit always has the latest version of the software on it. It sounds like this is something separate than the updated nav disc we order from GM.

So if I have something plugged into the accessory socket (i.e. satellite radio, phone charger, etc.) will that run down the battery if I keep it in? I notice that it still runs after the Tahoe is turned off. I thought I read something in the manual about this.

Do you have a specific link to the console kit in question? I did some searching on the GM accessories site but could not find it. I'd like to bookmark it so that when it does become available I can purchase.

Yes. It is located in the back of the center console.

I was going to post the same. I've been trying different ways of trying to get them to work from away for the Tahoe... but I haven't tried the "under the chin" method.

I'm looking at finally installing my Sirius plug-n-play (PNP) unit into my new Tahoe. i was contemplating mounting it to the center A/C louvers and using the AUX in on the front dash. However, after some thinking I wanted to make the install look as clean as iI could possbily get it. So...

Agreed XM_DUDE... I'm working from home more to offset the higher fuel prices, but now that gas is coming down in price there's more joyriding with the Hoe. Safety and the comfort factor are higher on my list as well.

I think you are right. The two times in the morning and now one time at night was driving with my rear towards the rising/setting sun. After it happening last night I was thinking maybe the intensity of the light was the cause. But it could also be the angle.

I understood those numbers to be averages and was hoping the numbers would be better than the sticker. I realized they were not going to after reading the posts on this forum. :-( Love the Hoe though. :-)
