Okay, the subject is our '95 Suburban and the right barn door does not stay open as well as the left side. The check strap is present and can be disengaged (man! does THAT scare my fingers!) and it re-engages as it should. But there's not enough friction to hold the door in the open position...

Meanwhile, over in the "Reviving Old Threads" department........ So, the factory amp under the driver's seat runs the speakers in the (side) rear doors, but not the "way back" speakers above the barn doors? In my truck I get good sound only from the driver door speaker....ALL the others are...

Okay, okay, yeah, yeah, it's a Suburban and NOT a Tahoe.... But I am counting on the collective wisdom & knowledge of the forum concerning shared points. Mine is in fact '95 Suburban LS K2500 with the 7.4L big block gasser, 4L80 trans and 4.10 rearend. Gonna use it for towing a travel trailer...
