I hope I can post in this forum... I don't see any appropriate place for the Equinox but need quick help if it's on here.
I'm renting an 08 Equinox in the STL area for the next 4 days and cannot get power out of the lighter/accessory receptacle - to power/charge my navigation system. I'm not...
Yeah I know I have the tailgate, but I'm confused or at least not 100% sure that what this catalog means by "cargo doors" is in fact barn doors. Are you saying it's pretty sure a bet that they mean barn doors to be cargo doors?
Also try http://www.partsamerica.com/ and search for "Automotive Tail Lamp Conn Park Lamp" for your year/make. They retail at places like Checker Auto parts. I"ve had to buy replacements for my '99 Tahoe and got them here.

Thanks for the tip on bending the door handle rod. That's exactly what the problems was (free play) and I did the same...
Thanks, I'll give it a shot today. That upholstery tool is available at almost any tool store... except Hawaii!! Been looking around and everyone can order it but no one carries it in stock...

Does anyone have procedures on how to remove the front (driver's in my case) doorpanel on a 99 Tahoe? I saw the writeup for the 00-04 but not confident that following it would be the same.
I'm wondering if anyone has had and fixed this problem.
I have a 1999 2-door Tahoe. Over the years the driver's side door slowly started getting hard to open from the inside. It's to the point now where I usually have to throw my shoulder into the door to get it to open. I think the door is...
