It depends. Generally, you will get better performance and gas mileage with higher octane depending on how you drive.

We got the flasher unit replaced today and so far so good. This flasher unit is not like yesterday's simple little units in a couple of ways: its $70 and there are a bunch of wires connected to it. So yeah, there could have been a short circuit in there. We'll see.
Got leaks?
If you get a dry day and can get the floor dried out, run a hose around the windshield. If the floor stays dry, run the hose on the other possible leaky places one by one until you find the culprit. It's also possible that the leak is in air vent, the floor or the lower firewall.
