Towing my trailer for the first time in my '09 LTZ my transmission temp hit 213 on a long steep grade over the Siskyou Mts. Normal operating temp is listed, high end, at 200 degrees. How much wiggle room is there and at what point should I pull over and stop? Is there a good way to cool it...

I've owned my LTZ for about two weeks. I set my info on the dash to instant read out and watch acceleration, get off the gas when I see I'm going to slow down or stop, I've been getting 13.8 to 14.1 around town doing that. No road trips yet. I fear what it will be when I tow my trailer.

Is there a way to turn off the load leveler system in order to park my trailer? Can't find it in my manual.
