What I did on mine was take the chrome pulls out of the handle and put them on the body colored bases...kind've like the Z71 tahoes...I really liked the look.

I am not sure how much the harness is. As for the vin unlock that will have to be done at the dealership. All dealers charge differently for doing this but I would say usually your looking at $50-75. While your there go the the parts dept. And see how much the harness is.

Yes it should work once you get the vin lock un blocked....I would probably say get the harness from a GM dealer.

Not sur on that one but I have an 07 esky that didn't come with RSE and my head unit sents the dvd to the monitors no problem. I have heard the GM tech just needs to hook up their tech II tool and open up the U42 code (RSE code). My headrests dont have dvd though so they are not sending...

send them back and have them replace with the correct ones....I mean **** almost all new GM vehicles use the same size posts that are the same width apart....I have an 07 Esky which uses the same posts as my 07 STS, 07 and 08 Silverado, and 07 Yukon Denali.

Well that depends on which one your get...I believe the new GMX322 or what ever has audio and video inputs...if that is the case then no you will not need the A/V 1600. I go the A/V 1600 so that I could use the stock DVD player in my Esky for the headrests...but since yours is only a Nav unit...

Not true....it will work....I had it set up in my silverado that only had nav and it worked great....it will unlock nav features that are disabled while in motion....if your nav has a dvd player it will unlock that function as well. Now if you have headrest monitors that have their own dvd...

Yep....It will also alow what is being played on the headrests to be played on the front nav system....and if you get a lockpick you will be able to watch it while you drive....as well as input adresses on the nav and do what ever else it wont let you do while the vehicle is in motion.

Yeah you need to get the AV1600 plug from Coastaletech...same guys that make the lock pick....this will give you an a/v in and out....plugs right into the back of your nav system.

any time you mess with the suspension in the front you should do an alignment....the small amount you pay for it can pay off big time down the road.
