Hey everyone!
I have a 2007 Chevy Tahoe Z71 with the nav screen withOUT Rear Seat Entertainment DVD option. We recently just added an all in one DVD flipdown to our headliner. Here's my question: If I take my Tahoe to the dealer to unlock the Nav screen for RSE, will I then be able to play...
Thanks for the link! So get this, now I am being told that the AV1600 will not work to send the video signal/audio from the headrests to my Nav unit b/c I don't have the Nav unit with the rear seat dvd option... what do you think?
Hey guys, I finally received the right headrests from Invision and will be installing them tomorrow in my 2007 Tahoe Z71. My questions are:
1.) how do I remove the plastic cover on the back of my leather seats to facilitate running the wires?
2.) any instructions on removing the center...
I called my local dealer, I would have to upgrade the control box to the Rev3 box, apx. $235.00. I think I'll wait to do this at a later time... ;)
Any advice on running these wires down through the Tahoe seats? I see there is a black plastic piece on the back of the seat, does this just...
Ok, I just contacted my local dealer, I would have to buy the Rev3 box that has 4 A/V inputs, it retails for $235. I think for now I'll just hang onto the A/V 1600 and then later on this year pick up the Rev3 box to finish the job.
I'm contacting my local Invision dealer right now on upgrading just the box to the Rev3 that has the av inputs, 4 of them... I'll let you know the cost once they call back. I really want to run these through the speakers and on the nav screen, it'll just depend on the cost now... This really...
I just called Invision, they are telling me there is no way to hook these up to the factory speakers, you can only use the FM Transmitter, which sucks b/c I just bought that A/V 1600. I'm going to take it to a local Mobile Audio/Video store and see what they say. More to come.
I bought them new off ebay. They do have a/v inputs on the front. I'll call invision and see what I can find out. I'll post once I have anything. Thanks for the info!
Yeah, the headrests have DVD players built right into them. Then they have two wires running from each headrest to this box. The box then only has a connection for the power/ground wires, a connection for the RF Modulator antenna, and the connections for the headrests wires... No...
Getting Audio through factory speakers
Hey there. I purchased the AV1600 Interface cable from Coasteltech, however, I have one question. The box that my DVD headrests hook up to does not have any AV Inputs/outputs? How do I hook this box/heardrests up to the AV1600 Interface cable?
Hey everyone, I just purchased some Invision REV2 headrest monitors for my 2007 Tahoe. I was told they would fit my vehicle, however, during the install tonight I found the posts on the replacements were to thick for my seats! I tried to bore out the plastic cap that was around the original...
That is a great link! Thanks for posting it! Do you have any information/instructions about running my audio through my head unit? I have the nav screen and would like to play these through the speakers. Any help would be great!
Hello! I just purchased the Rev02 headrests from Invision and was wondering if anyone had any general installation instructions or knew where I could find them. The seller of these headrests did not include any instructions and I would hate to have to pay someone to do it for me. Thanks to all...
