I removed the side moldings from our 08 Tahoe LTZ and decided to install the chrome moldings from the Escalade models. They look great IMO. Our Tahoe is Blue Granite and complements the look very well. I bought them from GM parts direct
I'm not sure if this is the right place for my request but, if anyone is interested in a even swap of their running boards with my 08 Tahoe's in OC So Calif.
I'd like the chrome trim rather than all black. Maybe you want all black?
Thanks
Can someone with an Escalade measure the distance between the top of the running board and the door chrome molding? Either top or bottom of the molding, just indicate where you measured it from.
Thank you
One of the reasons I waited until 08 to buy is because there was no tow package option in 07.
I liked the 6spd trans but I dont like the 3:08 or 3:42 gears. Our 08 has the 4spd and 3:73 gears and 2wd. We tow a 19 foot Airstream without problems. I sold our 25 foot Komfort because I was right at...
Yes for the 08 but I think the 07 2wd did not comewith the tow package unless you oredered the 4wd. I waited a year because of this.
Our trailer was a 6800lb Komfort 26 foot. I had to sell the trailer because it was just too much weight. We now are very happy with our 19 foot Airstream.
I know this is an old thread but if anyone is looking for a set of Eagles let me know. I need to sell mine. They seem to interfere with my trailer brake controller and can't use them. PM me, I just want to make room in the garage.
Our 08 does the same thing, 12v to around 14 v. I noticed it fluctuates more when the AC is on and the Monitor with video is running. I noticed that the positive side of the battery post had a lot of corrosion, so I cleaned everything up real good, reassembled and coated everything with...
If you recently had a tire rotation then the sensors need to be recalibrated. Read your manual. Its a bit tricky, if I remember right you have a certain amount of time to do all 4 wheels and you have to let air out of each tire so the system knows which tire you are adjusting. Good luck
You might want to double check your specs on the engine size and amount of speeds on your transmission before you post it.
If its an 07 then its the 5.3l engine and the 4 speed auto. The 6 speed was available starting in 08 and that was with the 6.2l engine. Now as a 2010 you can only get the...
No pictures. The quality is there, I do like them and they are very bright but. I think the gap between light lens and side body is too big. The OEM lens fits snug against the body, mine dont.
When I bought our guards last year at my selling dealer the parts guy said according to the book he had that the color type was discontinued, so I bought the black.
I have the same OEM GM guards. I tow a trailer and they help a lot by keeping trailer dent free. I dont think they look bad at all. Only wish I could have bought them the same color as my Tahoe which is Blue Granite.
I installed the 3gen tails last week and went out to the garage to see if they act as you described, and they don't. They work as good as the OEM lights.
By the way, I think they blink a little faster though. How are yours 73shark? And thanks for the tip, I bought the 3gens.
