Sorry for resurrecting this thread as my second post on the forums but I have this same problem on my 07 LTZ. Along with this problem I beleive the cruise control cutting out over a bump is related. Maybe a connector in the steering column or Dash area? Mabey a common plug in the fire wall? IDK...
