Actually...it helps to break in the motor at 75mph for long periods of time. Maybe you need to start taking more road trips. Feathering it during breakin..will not produce enough heat to properly break the motor in. Also...medium to hard accelerations around town and on the freeway will help the...
I get between 17 and 21. It's all about rpm management and overall smoothness of driving. Slowing down will help and avoid using too much brake....try letting off the gas to do most of your slowing. In your case...you have a new vehicle....so it's not broke in yet.
It could be that you need new shocks. Also..it may be that you are too heavy on the gas pedal and you need to manage your rpm's and driving style a bit more conservatively. It may also help to change your route around town...too many traffic lights can affect fuel economy significantly.
I need help. Where do I measure ride height in front? Should those rubber stoppers be touching the wishbone? How much can I lower it? Are there any suspension gurus out there in cyberspace that can help with answers?
