I'm trying to find out if my 2009 Z71 has an auxilliary transmission cooler or not. I have read that the Z71 package has one, but I've got no definitive answer. I'll be towing a 7500lb trailer and dont want to overheat...am I being too cautious or what?????

Hey all, I was wondering if it's worth doing a tranny fluid and filter change on my 09 Z71 myself, or leave it to the dealer? I've heard some horror stories...Also, is it possible to put an auxilliary tranny cooler on my truck...I'll be towing a 7500lb trailer in the summer?

Yeah thanks, thats why I need the build sheet, to see what rear end, tow package, tranny cooler...The RPO codes are a pain, and one site says one thing and a different site says it's something else...

Hey, I need to know what my towing capacity is, or if I need to add a tranny cooler. Here's my V.I.N # 1GNFK23019R276408. It's a 2009 Tahoe Z71 with the 5.3, 6 speed, with a tow package. I think max towing is either 8400 lbs or 9000 lbs, but I would like to know for sure!
