The Air Bags were in fact very easy to install. And yes they resolved almost of of my issues with squat. I also pull a 16' enclosed trailer that had the same effect on the Yukon.
For $99 you cant beat it. The Yukon is actually my wifes and she uses it for her business. She is very fussy...

I have a 2007 Yukon and do a lot of towing. The trailer of choice is a 2 horse straight load horse trailer. This trailer squats my Yukon about 4 inches with my weight distribution hitch and no horses. The horses actually stand directly over the axles and dont seem to increase the tongue...

The Brake Controller was installed today. It took all of about 30 minutes thanks to your help. I have to admit it was nothing like doing it to my expedition. Also, the Yukon tows great! I was really impressed. It is an XL too which might add to the better handling...
In my owners manual it is under Towing - Towing a trailer. Toward the end of the section it references hitches. My owners manual shows a diagram and states that if your trailer is over 5k you need a Weight Distributing Hitch.

I would also look into a weight distribution hitch! My wife has our Yukon right now but I believe that the owners manual lists the maximum tow weight using a WDH. Check into it!
