    Tahoe=Blazer?

    Actually, you are right on the money with that.:yesnod: By removable top, I was thinking top of the cab. I know that the rear portion was removable. Sorry for the confusion. :D

    Tahoe=Blazer?

    I wasn't using wiki for that one, but apparently my sources are just as wrong, lol. But in my defense, I've seen quite a few k-5's in the local junkyards, and I haven't found any with removable tops that were built after 75. I was trying to find a door for a friend's 75 k-5, and all I could...

    Tahoe=Blazer?

    Not true, the removable top was only thru the 1975 model year. After that they were no longer removable.

    Oh no just screwed up! oh wait no I didn't, what's that?

    You are lucky the bag didn't damage the seal. I once had that happen on an old Chevelle I used to own. The bag got caught up at the rear end, where the seal is for the pinion shaft. It was only on there for a few miles. When I removed the bag, most of my rear-end fluid drained out onto the...

    What Battery Do You Have In The Tahoe??

    Personally, I don't see the benefit in spending the kind of money for an Optima in an SUV, unless you plan to roll it or something:D. I just replaced an Interstate battery that only lasted for 3 years with a Napa Select. Only reason I went with that battery is because they were the only store...

    Should i trade my truck for?

    I spent $160 on a flowmaster 50 series generic copy. Sounds real nice and the shop did a great job.

    Should i trade my truck for?

    Keep your sweet looking two-door. No four-door is worth trading for it. And everyone knows that green two-doors are the best, lol. But there is a small chance that I may be a bit biased.:thumbsup:

    does anyone know....

    Here is one option that is very affordable. Many salvage yards sell brand new aftermarket parts like grilles, not just used parts. I bought mine at a local salvage yard, brand new, for $65.

    7.4 liter...

    I would never buy a rig without at least getting a chance to drive it and see how it runs out. I think the 7.4 will have enough power for you, and with $3000 to play with you can coax a bit more out. But at least take it for a spin first.

    After a re-boot the link is now working for me. Very nice, I really like how that looks. You should definitely pick it up.:thumbsup:

    Yeah, kind of between the two but closer to Pullman. In fact, I work in Pullman. Ever make it up to this area? I was beginning to think I was the only member in these parts, lol.

    2WD in Snow?

    2wd vehicles can work just fine in the snow. That's all I owned for 20 years before I bought my first 4x4 in 2001. In my opinion, it's more important for someone to have experience driving in slick conditions, especially if it's rwd. The other factor is to have good snow tires.

    MAACO?

    That's why I said if you do all the prep work yourself (which includes masking) you can get a decent result from maaco. I definitely would not let them prep it though. I've had reputable shops mess up a paint job too. Good suggestion to see what their customer satisfaction policies are.

    Rhino-Line entire body ?

    Why would you want to do this? Are you planning on filming a re-make of Road Warrior?:lol: I used to know a guy who did that to his 88 Honda Prelude a couple years ago. I know, it's not a truck, but it looked terrible.
