Has anyone removed the gas tank out and pulled the sending unit? I have a '94 Chev pickup as well as my '04 Tahoe. Thr '94 would act weird when it got low on fuel. Thought it was a failing fuel pump. Went to install new fuel pump, pulled the sending unit, and found a crack in the hose...
Helped a friend change his trans filter on his '02 Z71 Suburban. His pipe was in the way too. Took a crow bar and was able to pry it down just far enough to get the pan out and back in. Maybe worth a try?? I know the pipe on my '04 Z71 appears further down and out of the way.

I would say the readings you are seeing are perfectly normal. Consider that the transmission cooler runs through the radiator. The coolant also runs through the radiator. If the coolant coming from the engine is 190-200*, it would stand to reason that the trans temps would...
