ok so my 95 is a work in progress lol. finally believe I got the vacuum leak fixed properly or as close as its gonna get (but it works). had to use an elbow off another make vehicle on the backside of the tbi that goes to the valve cover, basically a ventilation hook up. shifts alot smoother...
95 tahoe tbi. have replaced everything except the tps, map sensor and throttle body itself, full tune up. still runs rich especially before warm up. one thing Ive noticed is if it sits for a few days the tb hangs up as if the butterflies catch on something. its not in the cable its in the tb...
have a 95 tahoe 4x4 with the 4L60 auto trans and 265/70/17 tires. was wondering if there was a way to adjust the shift points. I ask because it seems to not want to stay in od when going up slight inclines much less hills and will downshift with a very light pedal. seems like it should stay in...
was wondering if anyone knew for sure which port is the vent and wich port gets the vacuum hose? Im talkin about the side that has two ports. looking at some new ones the have a foam piece, theyre calling a filter, on the side closest to the plug in. is this the vent? just making sure I have it...
can keep it running if giving it gas. have to give it gas to start it. soon as I lift off gas it dies. even when going down road. once I slow down it dies. something I noticed was it seems to be at a very low rpm as if the trans is not engaged when coasting. runs fine with gas pedal applied...

ok so believe I got the vacuum line situation taken care of on the tahoe. drove it up to gas station for sum gas. well parked it, 20 min later walk by and hear the fuel pump going. unplugged it on the frame so I know for a fact thats what I was hearing. plugged back in and still running, kinda...
tahoe has what feels like a miss at acceleration up to about 3k rpms after that clears out and runs real smooth until it shifts, then back to a 'miss'. wouldnt think it would be plug or wire due to fact it does go away. any ideas?
have a couple questions. just bought a truck that I have wanted for some time now. 95 4x4 2 door w/body lift.
first thing is it was running descent right after I had changed the cap/rotor/plugs but now seems to stumble/hesitate at lower rpm when taking off, seems to clear out but just doesnt...
