I have noticed the same thing and have the same question. C'mon you guys in the far north . . . can you shed some light on this question for those of us in the deep south . . . ?? :Frustrated:
Well . . . GM did NOT get it right. Happened again today at 4305 miles . . . was coyote hunting and moving to my second stand when the "4 WD" warning light came on. Same deal as before . . . 4 WD shifter not working . . . locked up in 4 WD . . . had to drive 26 miles to the dealer who said on...
I too bought a '15 LTZ in June and after reading about this problem have been listening hard for the RUMBLE. Haven't heard it yet and I have made several short trips on smooth roads for no other purpose than to listen for the rumble. Granted, my hearing is not what it was 50 years ago but I have...
Thanks, Tobh415 . . . appears the technician at my dealer knew what he was talking about. Hopefully, his software update fixed the warning light so that it won't be a recurring problem.
Maybe GM finally got it right. :boti:
I have gotten the "Service 4WD" warning twice on my '15 Tahoe. First time at about 2880 miles and second time yesterday at 3860 miles. In each case the transfer case was in 4WD, the "Service 4WD" warning was on and the vehicle was in 4WD (not auto). Steering was stiff and I could feel the front...
Have almost 3500 miles on my LTZ now and am not at all impressed with the magnetic ride control. Seems a little harsh and does not really smooth bumps like my 2013 did. That said, it's still the best Tahoe I have owned but I really wish the shocks were a little more forgiving.
Does this '15...
I've owned several Tahoes since '95 and on none of them would the rear windows roll completely down.
But the '15 model is different . . . windows roll all the way down even in the rear. So, you may be pleased with this change! :boti:
So, with the 20" wheels I should be able to get by with the same hitch I used on my 2013 LTZ?
Guess I need to hook up and see for myself . . . :)
Since I got the '15 haven't needed to use the trailer . . .
Success - - - finally!
The local dealer got me squared away. He didn't do anything all that different. Biggest thing was . . . he had the engine running when he pressed the SET button . . . then when he pressed the '1' button he got the desired chime sound indicating the memory had been set...
Guys . . . I truly appreciate your efforts, but none of this works on my Tahoe. I must have an anomaly in the memory seat circuitry that prevents the seats from initiating the memory function. I can live with it and already have plans to visit a local dealer only five miles away to give him a...
Really appreciate the efforts from each of you . . . but still no joy.
I have visited the selling dealer twice for these problems . . . they seemed reluctant to write it up as a problem and send me to the shop but instead, referred me to the salesman and sales manager. Neither knew...
