Ok so I got a new blend door actuator and the first thing it did (after another attempt at calibration) was over travel and jam up the blend door again AND NOW I can't control blower direction either. Thoughts from anyone? I tried both calibration methods I listed above again. I'm at a complete...

Further digging has shown that the temp control blend door actuator has completely locked up in an over traveled position :/ damn near had to pry it off with a screwdriver from all the tension built up in it. I guess I'm looking for a new one of those now.

My stock 99 5.7L cracked both heads already at 140,000 miles. The guy that does my machine work is an old friend and he said that in his experience these heads crack more often than not. Now that being said, are there any alternative stock heads that hold up better? For instance the 243 heads...

I did, and I hate to be super picky but I was looking for something in black with the old school look of having the embossed brand name/logo. I can always paint them if I need to, but the only ones on eBay that I have found are the chrome trans-dapt ones. I'm not the best at surfing eBay though...

Either the bolt pattern is incorrect, or the service holes (breather, PCV, and oil fill) are in the wrong location. I would rather not have make modifications if I don't have to.

Check engine light never even came on. I ran a scan once for pending codes and got the "random multiple misfire" code, but it disappeared shortly after and hasn't come back to my knowledge. Other than that, nothing.
