What's the life span of the fuel pump and/or the sending unit? I have an '03 with 40,000 miles and the gauge is dong the same thing after I fill it, but needle usually goes to full after a mile or so. should I start shopping for the replacement parts now? Thanks

I have a 2003 Yukon with the 5.3 as well, I have been told that there were two different alternators on thesse, with different size pulleys, that affects the length of belt required. How can you tell which alternator is on the truck? Thanks

I just got the Tow/Haul indicator light issue resolved. Turns out that the wire in the shifter handle broke/frayed what-ever. The dealer's service center repaired it, instead of replacing the entire shifter handle for a cost of $425 plus labor.

I just strange that it stopped working. The light use to come on, no biggie, not a lot of towing being done with it. I don't think I want all the hassle that comes along with changing the bulb in the instrument cluster. I'll live with it off.

Where is the cabin air filter located in a 2003 Yukon? The owners manual gives a part number but I can't find where it is on the truck.
