I wouldn't smoke them at all, there all ready dark enough...you can hardly see the inside of the tailight, just in direct sunlight!! If you want them smoked you should get bermuda black.;)

Use a blow dryer, start at one side, use an old credit card and start to slide it under the emblem as it heats up, use a screw driver to pry it off, the credit card is to keep you from scatching the paint....the emblem is a two piece emblem, gold bowtie part is 3M sticker to to chrome bowtie...
