Sold my white Tahoe and bought it's evil twin. Black Yukon with Full Throttle Suspension Lift on 37" Grapplers. Can't wait to go mess around up in the Tahoe snow this year!
No lie ...GET LOCKS! Got my board stolen off my rack 2 weeks ago (mine did not have Locks). I just got a tip the the punk traded it into a local shop for a new board. I am waiting for that shop to open this morning!!! I hope it is mine!!!
Hey Chad, I have the Yakima rack that holds 4 snowboards (could not fit the 6 board rack) and also the big daddy Yakima Sky Box. Both work excellent with my stock Tahoe cross rails...I recomend Yakima!
You might be right with the z71, I have the LT with 6 1/2" in front & 7" of lift in rear with 35's and at full lock I had minor rubing in the front while backing up so I did trim some out of the front valance...Maybe It was because I am running the stock 20" rims???...maybe a different offset...
No, you would at least need a 4" suspension lift and even then might need to do some minor triming. Rancho claims fitment of 35's on their 4" kit alone, but I know for a fact that 2 1/2" leving kit will not clear 35's up front.
Nitto mud grapplers... I just swapped out my 33x12.5x20's with 20,000K miles on them for the bigger 35's but they still had at least 60% tread life left!!! Les Schwab says I could have got another 25k out of them with rotations every 3k.
