So i have a 08' LT2 TAHOE w/ bose no rear seat entertainment. I ordered the OEM navigation that plays the DVD for use with the RSE. I got that and the GPS antenna, disc....Now my question is...Do I need to order the VSS wiring kit as well ? What's it do? Sorry if it's a stupid question.

i too think it only works when you're going downhill....or if u accelerate and release the pedal. it's wack, at least we still in a tahoe ?

NOPE this is for my 08 TAHOE. To be honest this process was just a headache, and yes you have to cut around it. The Tahoe is glued on both side of the clear lens itself, so you're kinda cutting the top and baking the bottom. It took me two days just to get my first one done. I still have to...
