I did the same thing you are trying to do a while ago. I ended up just buying Black Handles, Mirror Covers and an lt gril off ebay. All i painted was the chrome ring around the lt grille and changed the parts out.. and as a bonus i just packed back up all my parts and sold it back on ebay...

After De-badging, grille, mirror caps and door handles.. I have pics of the back with black exhaust and bowtie somewhere :confused2: assuming my computer hasnt ate them already :rolleyes:

Well I took the tahoe into the dealer yesterday and they said that the sending unit in the tank is faulty. They also said they havent had any problems with the 08's and that they dont have any replacement sending units. They are putting a "stop order" (something like that) and taking one off...

Sorry it took me so long... I did change it to the "miles to empty" and it changes with the gas gauge. The reason i noticed the gauge moving is cause it will go all the way to empty and the nav will ask to display gas stations and that stays on the screen long enough for me to notice...

Well yesterday and today when i got in the tahoe (after it was sitting all night) it would say i have no gas left in the tank. If i turn it off and back on then it goes back to where it should be for a few minutes, but as im driving down the road everytime i look down its in a different spot...

I wish we had both. The gallery we have now is easier to find all the pictures and theres different categories to keep them organized, but I like being able to post progress type threads showing what you have done. You have multiple pictures of the upgrades and there all in one spot making it...

Yep haha I looked into that too and i looked on eBay, but i could only find chrome stick on ones or non-painted ones from the dealer.. I hope the "mystery source" comes through.. :lol:

I was wondering the same thing.. I think it just has tabs from what i understand but i haven't tried to pull them off yet.

I use http://photobucket.com/ Could be better or worse than imageshack i have no idea.. I just use photobucket cause its easy... just load the picture up using their uploader thing then copy and paste the link thats under it once its loaded...

Haha I read that and saw new Tahoe last saturday.. thinking to myself cool.. Then i see how many mods you've already done and i was like :wow: :wow: as far as pics go like AZSCTACO said just sign up for Photobucket and it puts the code right below your picture... just copy and paste it...

I change mine at 1000 then every 3000, but i have a lead foot and alot of my miles are city.

I have the regular flat ones cause i drive down some gravel driveways and they always leave little rocks wedged in the tires waiting to fly out and chip my paint. The power ones didnt seem to provide as much protection and there is no way im putting mud flaps on this thing. Plus they come in...
