I actually had a set of these on my last suburban and I agree they were great tires. I actually forgot all about this until you mentioned it. I traded that truck back in 2005, as they say, the memory goes first.
Thanks for the reply.
I'm sitting on 40K on the OEM Goodyear Wrangler AT/S tires and getting close to needing to replace them. I have no complaints but just wanted to see if anyone has any other tire recommendations for me before I go back with the same tires.
This is a '06 2WD with Z-71 so I am obviously not...
I just saw this on Comcast.net
WASHINGTON - General Motors Corp. said Friday it was recalling 944,000 vehicles because of a problem with a windshield wiper fluid system that could lead to a fire.
More than 850,000 sport utility vehicles, trucks and passenger cars in the United States...
I think it is a worthy cause but I have the Cashmere cloth seats which I don't think is going to be treated with such high priority or interest.
No doubt, the cloth is eating our clothes and spitting them back out but I bet it is only 1/2 as bad as what you are experiencing with the ebony...
I just paid 3.57/ gal. for E85 while on vacation in Texas and 87 was 3.87/gal. I seriously felt better about my purchase knowing that the corn based fuel was made in the USA and don't mind the wash in savings whatsoever.
Here are a few pics of the mounting hardware.
What measurements would be helpful?
I'm not sure that I can easily peel the carpet back to check for the mounts.
Clicking Relay?
I've been wondering if it is a relay. The only thing that I can think of is maybe the heated mirrors circuit?
I have a bout 2K of warranty left so I guess I'll take it in and see what the dealer has to say.
I'll let you know if I find anything out.
I got it!
I decided to go ahead and shell out the dough to buy the complete set of diagrams from www.ahdol.com.
Here is a sample of what it looks like, they seem to have a really nice service.
The only downside is that '07 models are only available from thier "expedited service" which is...
Does anyone have a copy of these that they would be willing to share?
I'm specifically looking for the connections that go between the radio and the rear entertainment system screen.
Thanks!
How many plugs did your truck have?
I'm guessing that the back of the nav unit looks like this...
Did you have 4 plug in connectors already?
Which OEM radio did you pull, did it have DVD or no DVD?
I'm still trying to figure out if my truck has 4 plug in harnesses or 2 and I can't look...
I get this clunk in the front end when backing up and turning the wheel hard and then it does again when I pull forward. I don't hear it again until I back and turn hard again.
Any ideas?
'06 Tahoe Z-71
I'm getting this slight tick around 55-65 MPH. It seems to happen when I hit the slightest bumpiness in the roads but I can't image what it is since it is such a soft little noise.
It almost sounds like an electrical relay clicking on and off but it seems to only happen at...
Thanks Gambler
I appreciate the input and link. I may not have desribed this well enough. I'm not actually going to the Nav radio but just to the combo that has the DVD. If the budget allowed, I would definitly be upgrading to the nav radio, it looks really nice!
BTW, this is on my wifes '07...
