Last year while on vacation, a friend went to open the back gate. Not knowing that it was automatic, she grabs under the chevy emblem and pulls..... Guess what came off! You guess it.
Since then, it has been loose as ever and honestly, I was in a bind out of town and put black duct tape on it...
That is typical of the air ride system when you turn the truck on and off. Cannot answer really about when towing. I do not remember hearing mine when towing my boat though.
good luck!
If this is the molding that has the button on it to open the back glass, it is held on by plastic clips. I will tell you though, mine got accidently removed and now it is a battle to keep it on. just some FYI.

I have a 2007 Tahoe LTZ and I am wondering WHAT kit is best to go with?
What I mean is do I do springs only OR spindles front springs rear. I am NOT wanting to break the bank as I am getting married this year and need to save some $$$.
There are a LOT of options out there now and just want...
I know this has been asked before, but I am limited on time and cannot search for the CORRECT answer.
My hoe has 160k highway miles. I believe the shocks/struts on the front need replaced.
I know the factory is an expensive replacement, but WHAT aftermarket will work? I do not mind...
Finally got everything installed
Finally installed!
Had to take it to the dealer to get the alignment done and all is well!
Thanks for everyone's help with this project. I know that it needs to be cleaned and HOPEFULLY this will happen this weekend.
Update!
I just got back from a local Chevrolet dealer after getting my alignment done. WONDERFUL JOB!! Granted it cost me $143.00, but there isnt a lot of places that have the ability to align vehicles with aftermarket wheels this size.
I dropped the front 2 inches and the back 4 or 5...
Yea I figured as much that they where. I wanted to tell him that he is an F'ing idiot, but I refrained. For a shop that sells lowering kits and all kind of custom wheels, it is nuts. All he kept saying was that I needed to take it to the Cadillac dealer. After that was said about 5 times, I...
Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I just got back from TK Performance HOPING to get an alignment.
Apparently, the "tow" is out on the rear. He said that it is because I lowered the vehicle and it is not the factory setting. I know that I am no GM Certified mechanic, but I don't see how...
While lowering my 2003 Denali over this past weekend, I noticed my tires are getting a little worn.
I have looked at Tire Rack and Discount Tire and see all the reviews of different tires.
I would rather hear it from peeps that have the same vehicle that I do and your experience with the...
While installing my belltech spindles. I cracked the tie rod end boot and the upper control arm boot.
Can these be replaced WITHOUT replacing the tie rod end and the control arm? If so, can you point me in the right direction?
I have attached a picture of what I am looking for. PLEASE...
I put just the muffler on. I have put some sound deadning on my floor and 2 layers of the padding under the carpet. It was almost unbearable this weekend while on a trip to Orlando.
Denali gas mileage
I have a BB Tune, CAI, just the Magnaflow muffler and Electric Fans installed. I am averaging around 14-15 in the city and about 16-17 on the highway. I am typing this while in Orlando right now so heading back to Jacksonville tomorrow. Getting a better mileage reading after...
Good evening everyone.
I was putting some padding in my Yukon Denali under the carpet. I removed the module that I think my autoride uses. I started the truck and I think that the autoride is now at the highest they will go.
Is there a fuse or something that will lower the truck back down...
Wow that does sound like a nightmare!
My issue certainly isnt that problem. There is a door that opens and closes for lack of a better explanation. There is an actuator that opens and closes this door. I have replaced this actuator and it still does not work. You can actually watch the...
