    Remote Start ??

Thats interesting. Being that the truck isn't even a year old, I would hope that wasn't the issue.

    Remote Start ??

Thanks guys, I was thinking the same thing. At first I thought that I had to hold the button until it started and maybe I was holding it not long enough/or too long (whatever the case may have been). I called my local dealer. Once I have some time, I will take it in and have it looked at.

    Remote Start ??

Hi all, I have an '07 LTZ. Half of the time I can remote start the vehicle without any problems. It starts just as it was designed too. Other times, the vehicle turns over and "kind of starts" then immediately dies. Anything I should know about the system to cause this? Once this occurs...

    TT Shado on LTZ only?

Rear Facia Closeout. Dark Blue. Part number 19156289. $85. Stewart Chevrolet does not have any in stock but there are 7 in the warehouse (probably in Reno). They said they can have them in 1 day.

    My Tahoe was Hit today

I heard from the Body Shop. $2,020.83 to repair. Not bad considering the other car is probably a total.

    My Tahoe was Hit today

I thought about that too... when I went to bed last night.

    My Tahoe was Hit today

I think the hitch causes the type of damage you are thinking about when the ball is installed. If you look closely, you will see the hitch imprint in the center of the hood.

    My Tahoe was Hit today

I hit the onstar button (just because I wanted to try it) to be honest. I could have called 911 on the cell, but it really wasn't an emergency (in my opinion). Plus... Have you ever called 911 in California (on a cell phone)? You are put on hold and at times it can take several minutes to get...

    My Tahoe was Hit today

So... We are driving home between Sacramento, CA and San Francsico. We are South Bound Highway 5 just past Sacramento Airport. Traffic comes to a screeching stop. The Tahoe stops beautifully. The ABS worked just like it should. Unfortunately for me.... the Toyota following me didn't stop...

    gas mile increase

I just returned from Las Vegas. I averaged about 18.8 mpg out on the highway. I am ok with that mileage. I am not hopeful that I will ever see the window sticker numbers at this point. This is a 2WD with 3.42 gears. Average speed was about 75-80.

Is Tahoe Navigation System Touch Screen??

Ok, so I know this is a stupid question, but can I send the video image from (lets say an) I pod to the nav screen? My tahoe has nav but not the rear entertainment. Or is there another device I can use. The AUX in you are referring to is the 1/8" jack on the front of the unit...correct?

    McGaughys Front Spindle Install Instructions???

I have also called McGaughys with questions. You are right about them... they are not very helpful. All they do is push you off to a local (to you) shop that sells their product. In my opinion, it's not a very good business practice.

    Computer re-flashed w/ 22" Wheels???

This is nothing more than a guess.... but it would likely recalibrate the speedometer to account for the difference in tire size. This would affect the odometer as well.

    Lowering with Autoride

I have been looking at dropping my LTZ. I began looking at Eibach but when I spoke to them, my main concern was getting suspension error lights. Eibach said this would occur but would likely be very seldom. Another person on this form recommended McGaughy's. I spoke with them and was...

    LTZ

Ok.. I have now had the LTZ for two weeks. Granted, I was away on business for one of those, but I have still managed to put a little over 700 miles on it. I have been reading the threads on V8 and V4 operation. In one of the gas mileage threads I read where people are seeing higher mileage...

    Lowering a 2007 Tahoe LTZ - ???

Thanks. I don't mind a stiffer ride. I have had sports cars for most of my life. I am looking for improved handling at this point.

    Lowering a 2007 Tahoe LTZ - ???

I just took delivery of a 2007 LTZ with Auto Ride Suspension (I think it is called). Can this vehicle be lowered a couple of inches without adversely affecting the dynamics of this suspension system? If it can... where can I get the necessary equipment? Thanks, Ray

    Dealer Called

Could this be the same plant my '96 Impala SS was built in?

    Dealer Called

So... I received a call from the dealer. He said my LTZ is due to be built this week. I guess I will finally see it sometime in the next month. By the way, where are these things built? Ray

E85, is anyone using it yet?

I understand where you are going with this thought. I truely believe that Whipple Performance will work everything out before they put a product out to the public. They have a great reputation and I have never had any problems with them in all the years I have used them.
