This job looks clean as hell!!! How did you unhook the headrests to enable them to come out and was it easy to snake the wire through? Mine don't seem to come out that easy. I'll be installing my monitors by this weekend.

I think there's a little pin in the post you have to push in.

I was always curious if the tabs were used to hold it in...lol

Hi. First post.

I'm working through a similar process installing headrest monitors into my 2000 Yukon-XL. I'm coupling it with a Jensen VM9512 flip up DVD with a ton of features. The head unit is all done but I'm trying to work through the wiring to the headrest monitors, media unit, and headphones for the back seat.

Any suggestions on how to push extra wiring through the dash? I have the entire console disassembled up to the dash. But I haven't figured out how to get the wiring from the head unit down to the floor.

Any suggestions welcome.

It should just drop down. I went down the left side (driver side) with my RCA cables and then through the center console. Might help if you unhook the A/c panel if you haven't already.
