Backup Camera

OK I have the GM Lock pick Pro installed with a backup camera up front. Works fine except the image is reversed. I read somewhere that there is a green wire inside the camera cable that gets cut to correct the image. So i spliced mine open and there is no green wire just red, black and yellow. Question is did I splice in the wrong spot and miss where the wire may be or do I need to get a different camera. Can someone help me out???
