Won't crank unless I press UNLOCK

[Havasu Tahoe]

Does anyone know why my 2005 Tahoe won't crank unless I have pressed UNLOCK on the key fob within about 5 minutes of attempted start?

I unlock the door with key fob, wait over 5 minutes, then it won't crank unless I press UNLOCK again with the key fob. Any way to disable that need?
