So i am debating on 2 lift kits, i like superlifts normal kit (not bracket and FIT) and i am liking the procomp. Now im not too new to the lifting scene but i am new to IFS, sounds like a headache compared to lifting our F-350. With the superlift kit they say that since you drop front diffy and what not and that it just isnt bigger spindles and that u can get bigger torsion bars and get around 7"+ out of it. Now with the procomp the kicker on theirs is that it comes with a front CV for about the same price someplaces cheaper than the superlift. On the procomp im pretty sure its the same design on the kit. But what i am wondering is do you think it would be better to get the procomp kit, coil spacers for the back , and ford keys or just crank the stock for about 7-8". i am also doing a 3" body to fit 38s.

Fabtech bumps the track width way the fu*k out on the nbs trucks, I'd stick with the pro comp full drop 6" with some f150 keys and 2" coil spacers out back to clear a 37 with some trimming. The fabtech knuckle kit is a good kit, really easy to install but the tires will look goofy as fu*k being so far apart with such a small tire. Look into doing the cognito pitman/idler braces too or that 1/2 ton ifs will be quite pissed at you. With the loot you drop on a 6" + 3" body you might as well buy a dana 44 and start chopping that bitch up for a solid axle.

I used the Pro comp , it is a tremendously well built kit , I also plow with the truck , and after a year my alignment even after plowing is still perfect.

I chose it because it is a FULL DROP , which means the diff drops along with the suspension allowing better c.v angles and it allows you to run a STOCK wheel if you need to as I do to plow.

Pre NBS pro comp had issues, but 00 to 06 kits where made exceptionally well and I have yet to here of anyone who had any issues with a pro comp lift on any trucks 00 to 06

those rims are sick. the problem with going 18s is the tire companies that make them for 18s are VERY expensive. especially nitto. diehard where did u get the tune? how is it? gears are really expensive id prob have to wait on that, what does your truck have now with 35s 4.10?

He has 3.73's or lower unless he already regeared, those wheels are available in 17x8 and 17x9 too. Wait4me is a great tune as well as blackbear, nelson, and wheatley. You can either send your pcm in for the tune or have them send you one and you'll have to have to do a crank re-learn because it isn't an original pcm.

17s are iffy, if i would go with wheels like that or the KMCs i would probably do 18s. im still trying to find a quote on the 38/15.5r16 dirt grips but no one carries them since parnelli jones is weird... with the tunes what exactly do you mean a crank relearn. and these arent like the hypertech ones are they?

I have yet to ever do a crank re-learn with a Wait4me replacement PCM . And that is on 3 Chevy Trucks .

hey you might want to check out the rcd 6" lift. they do a helluva good job. i have it on my 01 tahoe and i'm more impressed then the 6" pro comp lift i had on my silverado. i re-geared with some 4.88's too. the nice thing with pro comp if the cv included but pro comp is known to sag in the rear after a year or two

I've never had sag issues on the pro comp kits and I've installed a few dozen even with big stereos they're fine. RCD is a good kit but I think most of that ifs torsion bar sh*t is garbage to lift in the first place.
