Yes, I have the same problem with our 08 Yukon. It's not just these vehicles, because I've owned an Expedition, and also the wifes previous Mini-van was the same way. It's just something about the shape, that causes it.

I paid $650 to have a hood painted 3 years ago, that didn't need bodywork, just sand, paint & clearcoat. I complained about the price, and was told the materials, was more than half the cost. I don't work in body work or anything, but I would guess, about $850, unless you really know...

I believe the all white would look the best. I also know it will be expensive to have the entire mirror sanded smooth, painted and clear coated. I have just the painted back cap portion, as it came from GM. The side and botom are still black, but it looks different on the Stealth Blue.

I watch the oil life monitor, but I change it when it gets down to about 20%. I don't let it get any dirtier, or less life left in the oil. Mine has been working out, so that it gets changed about every 5,000 miles.

Buy yourself a tester and be certain it is enough anti-freeze, in the system. One of those testers that has the floating balls, will tell you how cold your system can take the temperature. If you got a friend at a local garage, maybe you could get it tested and not have to buy the tester. I...

I do know that the Denali Bumpers are different. I bought the moded Splash guards, which you can buy painted to match your body color. You can only buy the Denali ones, and they will not fit an SLT. I got stuck, and had to buy Black ones and have them painted to fit an SLT.

I have been real happy with the PUTCO ones. They are also In-Channel. I got the (4) from Amazon for like $79.00 They (Putco) also have the Chrome ones, if you want those verses smoked, of course the Chrome, does cost more.

I agree, the rear set just needs to match your bumper molding, that comes around to the rear wheel. I think the splash guards are just Denali (LTZ) or Non Denali (Non LTZ). The bumper trim is shaped differently. Power or non-power running board shouldn't matter.

Sorry to hear of the misfortune at your Dealer. There are Good Dealers and Bad ones. Same with employees at dealerships.

That was good of the Dealer, to rotate your tires for you. But they should have known to reset, for the different wheel locations.

It was cold this weekend in VA. The wind never stopped either. You will get the best pictures, if you take them real early or real late in the day. Your vehicle will be much more shiney. Also you need to have the Sun behind you, as you take the picture. Also the tripod or resting the camera...
