I am having problems with the fuel guage on my '01 Denali. I filled it up last week and it still shows full. I know it isn't full because I have probably put about 100 miles on it since then. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to try or do I need to take it in?
That happened to me and it was the switch. Very easy to replace, the part was like $45. I found it by doing a search on google, I can't remember the name of the site.
They are very easy to install. It is all plug and play, just like changing a light bulb. The only thing extra to do is to mount the ballast. I would try attempting this yourself before paying someone.
Mine rubs on the inside of the fender too. Only about 3/4 from full turn, when I turn it all the way it doesn't rub. It seems to only do this more when turning left, not so bad turning right. I have 26" wheels.
It does ride rough over the bumps in the road. I will probably lower soon as it gets a little warmer out. I don't plan on doing a BBK anytime soon, but I am sure it would look good.

I am looking at buying some new wheels for my '01 Denali, does anyone know if the offset is the same on an '01 as the new '07-'09 Denali's? I was told that they are different. The rims I am getting are 26x10 with 305/30/26 tires.
