I am at 4000 miles and I havent changed it yet. still is in great shape. My mechanic told me that the first time you change to synthetic it actually cleans out all the old stuff. He said to change it the first time at 1000 to make sure you get all the old build up out of it. Nathan

When I swithced to royal purple. My mechanic told me to change it after the first 1000 miles. Then after that you should be fine. He mustve know what he was talking about cuz the oil change light came on at 989 miles. Changed it now at about 4000 miles with more power and better fuel econ. Nathan

side note. I just put on maxxis bighorn s 285s . They cost quite a bit less than the nittos and I like them much better. Had the maxxis buckshots on my jeep and they were the best tire I ever had.The bighorns are the next step up . Nathan

I put skyjacker hydros on my tahoe. I got em all four for 138 delivered. I also got 2 different lengths for the front and back since the front was a bigger lift with the keys!.4wheelsupply.com. They just asked what lifts i was doing on each end to match em up better.hope this helps! Nathan
