Hi all- I was just wondering if anyone know what the "fake" speaker grill in the rear of the tahoe is for? Its like right by the tire jack. Has anyone out there used this spot to put a sub in?

Is there not a way that you can wire it to the fuse panel? Ive seen numerous people do it, I tried it and Im not sure what Im doing wrong but I can get power to the detector. So confussed!

I took my 03 z71 in for the same thing. They replaced the I-Shaft and it has made a day and night difference. There is a GM recall on this and they should replace it for no charge. If you have an extended warranty they will try to claim it through them first, if you have a deductible make...

Alright guys, I need your advise. I have a white 2003 z71. Im thinking about putting a bug shield on, GMparts has a black one and a white one, not much for price difference. Whats you opinion? Black or white on a white z. Thanks in advance!:)

Did it and everything works as normal. Paid $225.00 and that includes a one year agreement and 25 to the dealership. Took about 1/2 day.
